![]() I've been working on a facial sugar scrub for a while now but have not perfected the recipe. I have super sensitive skin that gets irritated even with light oils found in most sugar scrubs Lately I have been using the easiest DIY trick ever and thought I would share it so you can make your own scrub. I guarantee that you have all of the ingredients in your house right now. All you need is your favorite facial cleanser and sugar. You can use plain white sugar, raw sugar, or organic dehydrated cane juice -- whatever you have on hand will work. Start out like you normally wash your face; wet it, take a pump of your facial cleanser, and rub it on your face. Next (without rinsing your hands) put a teaspoon or two of sugar on your fingers and rub it all over your face. Rinse. You get the awesome exfoliation of the sugar while also cleansing your face. I do this trick a few times a week and love the feeling of clean, exfoliated skin! Tip: To make it even easier, I keep a small container of sugar and a scoop in the bathroom so I don't have to run to the kitchen every time I want to exfoliate! |
